My partner, Jodi, has been dogging me to do a blog forever and, to be honest with you, I was like - why would I do that? We have Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and Snapchat? Blogs seemed so out of date to me. I didn’t get it. I finally saw the light when Jodi asked me what I was inspired by. And I said, with out missing a beat, ‘old things’! “EXACTLY”, she said. She went on to explain that blogs worked then and blogs work now and that I can draw my inspiration from good blogs from the past but update the concept. Make it my own! We also agreed to NEVER call it a “blog”. It’s simply a place where all things HEDGEHOUSE can live, hence the name “#HHLIFE”.
This is where HEDGEHOUSE exists in a purely aesthetic and creative world. It doesn’t have to be a rolling feed of content, arduously churned out daily by me. I think of it as part notebook, part scrapbook, and part digital pinboard, all existing together within our community. We hope you like it. Please let us know what you think!
